David North
David is an accomplished HR development professional,
with
senior leadership and consulting experience gained in
the UK and US. David’s passions are bringing about
strategic organisational change, designing and
implementing development processes and executive
programmes, and coaching individual leaders.
David’s key achievements:
• Leading a project to embed a performance culture as
part of a major organisation transformation, which
included People Reviews, rigorous Leadership Capability
Profiling and stretching Personal Development Plans
• Leading change within a US financial services
business, with significant re-structuring and related
employee communication, morale and retention challenges
• Leading a project to build enterprise-wide commitment
to a new business mission and culture following a major
acquisition
• Designing and delivering internal coaching skills
programmes
• Introducing development centre programmes to
accelerate career progression
• Developing a behaviourally anchored leadership
competency framework, which became the backbone of
performance and potential assessment and leadership
development across a major international business
• Designing an action learning programme for mid-level
executives to develop strategic thinking skills and to
validate the organisation’s potential assessment
approach.
David has a first degree in Economics and Social
History, and a Masters in Strategic Human Resource
Development. He is a member of the CIPD and is a
qualified pshychometrist.
